San Francisco resident and blogger, Gabi Moskowitz is The BrokeAss Gourmet. But don't let the name fool you - the emphasis is more on gourmet than broke, showing you how to make restaurant-worthy dishes for a fraction of the cost. This month Gabi is releasing her first book, The BrokeAss Gourmet Cookbook, which collects gourmet recipes that will feed four people with ingredients that cost less that $20. Among the recipes you'll find are exotic but easy dishes such as Watermelon-Lime Gazpacho and Oven-Fried Sriracha Chicken to Salted Fudge Brownies.

Catch Gabi at her book release party on Thursday May 10th at 7:00pm at Green Apple Books on Clement St. in San Francisco. There will be wine and food to taste plus an after-party at The Bitter End, across the street.
