Oracle Fox: The Muse of Free-Spirited Bohemian Style
I enjoy working with brands that I love, and who give me freedom to create unique pieces that represent the brand, but at the same time are distinctively Oracle Fox.

Photographer, blogger and visual artist Mandy Shadforth is an Aussie from the Sunshine Coast who has found a way to turn her laid-back love of surfing and rock-an- roll, and her sleek sense of design into OracleFox, a popular website for free-spirited fashionistas around the world. In addition to posts featuring her own outfits, she also curates striking and eclectic collections of photos with fun names like Riders on the Fray, Born to Be Free, Bittersweet, and Part of the Mania. Recently named to the SAY 100 as a top fashion influencer, we caught op with Mandy from her home in Queensland to find out what fashion trends she's following this season, what her all-time favorite posts have been – and where she's headed next.
You have a great eye for timeless fashion. What's are some of your favorite fashion finds or style trends at the moment? This season my favourite trends include:
Distressed boyfriend jeans
Shin-length pencil skirts

You have cool DIY projects on the site. What are some reader favorites? Last year I posted a DIY fluro pink bracelet. It was made out of fluro pink cord from my local hardware store. It was a hit because it was cheap easy and effective.
You've collaborated with Billabong on surf style – how do you like to work with brands? I love collaborating with my favourite brands. It's always a great opportunity for me to push my creative boundaries and share my work with my fans! I enjoy working with brands that I love, and who give me freedom to create unique pieces that represent the brand, but at the same time are distinctively Oracle Fox.
Erica of Honestly….WTF calls your site one of her favorite fashion inspirations. What are yours? Who are your soulmates in style? At the moment I get my inspiration from the following people and sites, but this constantly changes for me: Stevie Dance, Christine Centenera, Anja Rubik, Studded Hearts, KnightCat.
What opportunities has your site opened up for you that wouldn't have happened otherwise? I have been able to travel around the world, collaborate with amazing companies brands, and most importantly connect with amazing people.
What have been the most popular posts on your site to date? And what does that say about what people are looking for? Definitely my Bali wedding. I think that my readers are true romantics and connected with the whole ethereal beach theme. I had no idea that it would be this popular!
What's something your readers would be surprised to learn about you? I used to race dirt bikes! I know it's quite a contrast fashion and dirt bikes but I've always been a bit of a tomboy.
What's next? Stay tuned for some exciting collabortations with Oracle Fox towards the end of the year. A little hint...Japan has always been a place that I have wanted to visit!!
