The Best Technology Is Invisible
That's the right – it should get out of the way and connect people. That's the philosophy of cyborg anthropologist and SAY Create speaker Amber Case. Amber is a co-founder and CEO of Geoloqi which was just acquired by mapping giant Esri (congrats, Amber and team!).
As part of our Best of SAY Create series we captured highlights from Amber's inspiring talk at SAY Create 2012 in Carmel, California where she explores the intersection of technology, brand engagement and the future of interaction. You can also read our earlier interview of Amber here.

Yes, well said Amber! I often use the Elevator analogy when speaking about, say, GIS technology. (1) Elevators work behind the scenes. We don't think how they work except when they don't work! (2) Elevators were and are transformational. In the dawn of the 20th Century they enabled cities to grow UP and not just OUT, and thus shaped and continue to shape our everyday spaces.
