Starting Fires & Telling Stories with Lazy Habits

Lazy Habits
Imagine Glen Miller was born on the streets of Hackney. Beats, rhymes, brass and hip-hop don't get mixed together very often, but when they do the results are explosive. Lazy Habits are the boys from London who are tearing up the music rulebook and rewriting it in their own original style. Packed full of killer lyrics, dirty beats and infectious brass loops lifted right from the golden age of big bands.

The London media scene was able to sample the Lazy Habits experience at Say Yes on 6 February, at Floridita in the heart of Soho. We grabbed them for a quick chat before the show to talk about the Lazy Habits sound, the origins of the band and the secret of great storytelling as part of Say’s artist series.
